Wine Tours

Apart from our shark tours, we also offer wine tours in Cape Town. The South African Winelands start from just behind Table Mountain and stretch towards Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl, Wellington and all the way past Robertson. South Africa’s oldest wine region, Constantia, lies right behind Table Mountain and it is from this area that Napoleon Bonaparte ordered his favourite wines, sweetening his imprisonment on the island St Helena.

We offer a full day as well as half day tour to historical wine estates, where you will be able to enjoy wine tastings as well as wine and cheese pairings. All wines are spoiled with lots of sun and will be an absolute feast for your senses.

We will collect you from your accommodation in the early morning hours or around lunch time and head straight for our first wine farm in Stellenbosch, a region famous for its beautiful vineyard landscapes. We will enjoy a tour through the wine cellar, followed by three wine- as well as one cheese tasting.

The wine maker will provide you with plenty of background information on all wines tasted and can knowledgably advise you should you wish to purchase your favourite wine. Should you be particularly fond of a specific wine, there is always the option of having an order delivered to your doorstep in Europe. You will also find a small wine shop on the farm, offering typical South African and wine related curios and gifts, from bottle openers and wine coolers, to ostrich eggs etc.

Upon special request, private tours can also be booked with a German speaking tour guide, who will guide you through the Cape’s most beautiful wine farms and vineyard landscapes!

We would most certainly recommend the full day tours, should you have the time at hand, as half day tours are restricted mainly due to the time required for travelling between stops.

We are happy to combine shark tours with other various tours and outings in and around Cape Town. South Africa’s winelands can also be visited with a helicopter tour!

For further information please do not hesitate to contact us and we will get back to you shortly.
