The Atlantic Ocean offers activities and adventures in many estuaries and sheltered bays which are suitable for swimming, surfing or diving.

Shark diving is offered at the port of Gansbaai, where you get to observe the ocean's largest predator face to face from behind the bars of a secure cage under water.

Along the coast there are several perfect fishing spots along with endless white sandy beaches, ideal for long walks.

Whales

A trip to South Africa is particularly well worth it in the winter time when the giants of the sea visit our shores. Many Right whales visit our coastal waters in order to give birth to their calves. With a lot of luck you may also spot whales or dolphins on your shark tours apart from Great White sharks.

Delphin

The local golf course offers spectacular views on the outskirts of the coastal village.

In the countryside you will find short and long hiking routes. The following activities can be carried out with us in addition to this: mountain biking, quad biking, horse riding and 4 × 4 adventure trails. Gansbaai also offers a number of great restaurants and pubs with fresh seafood on offer.

Additional Attractions - Klipgat Cave
In De Kelders you can delve into mankind's past. Here, large caves were created millions of years ago which were inhabited by people in the Middle Stone Age (about 50,000 to 60,000 years ago). The sea level was much lower in the earlier period and the coast is therefore about 3 km further than what it used to be. Remains of stone tools have been found in the Klipgat cave along with food in the fire pits.

Nature lovers have the option of booking 2, 3 or 5 day shark tours. Here you will get to fall in love with and explore our surroundings in addition to shark diving.

We also offer Big 5, 6 and 7 tours in Cape Town area for all adventurous tourists. These are all day tours and you therefore do not need to arrange any further accommodation.

Listen to the sounds of nature, experience spectacular sunsets and become acquainted with Great White Sharks.

We look forward to hearing from you and advising you further on all aspects of our shark tours.
